I am excited to announce that I will be teaching Warm Hatha Yoga classes at SPARK Movement Academy in Oak Harbor Washington.

Hatha Yoga is a slower-paced practice focusing on holding poses, with a strong emphasis on proper alignment and controlled breathing. If you are starting, or are getting back into a fitness routine, come see if this is a fit for you. 

Practicing yoga in a heated studio helps build endurance, increases blood flow, and increases the production of hemoglobin, the protein that carries oxygen to your muscles, tissues, and organs. The heat also increases flexibility by allowing you to go deeper into your stretches and improves the range of motion in your joints without injury. It improves cardiovascular health and bone density, reduces stress, detoxifies the body, and improves skin health.

Prioritizing your health and well-being is an ongoing journey. I am passionate about encouraging others to embrace Hatha Yoga as a way to enhance health and mobility.  With a consistent routine, you can enjoy a vibrant life filled with the activities you love!

My introduction to yoga began in college in 1979 when I discovered its amazing health benefits. In the late 1990s, I found hatha yoga and was hooked!! I received my 200-hour yoga teaching certification in 2019 and am now determined to share my knowledge and experience with you. I am passionate about helping those who struggle with weight, chronic pain, inflammation, and motivation.
